Enjoy a day in the beautiful Matakana region just an hour north of Auckland.
Explore our beautiful vineyards and restaurants, beaches, boutiques and unwind and enjoy the tranquil countryside. Before you leave don't forget to stock up at the Matakana Patisserie which boasts a fine array of breads and cakes. Plus a trip to the Farmers Market and Craft Market on a Saturday
morning is a must!

From SH 1, take Snells Beach turnoff along Sandspit Rd. Travel about 7 kms to the Sandspit turnoff and hard left is Sharp Rd. Look for the Hope Gibbons sign 2 kms down to you right, seaward side. First house (black house) down drive.

If coming from Warkworth via Matakana Rd, travel past Ascension Vineyard.
On your right is Sharp Rd turnoff (Home Fresh on the corner) travel
2.09 km  to our sign on your left.
